Terms of Service Title

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MentorMind (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all the terms, you should not access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

MentorMind is a mentorship platform that connects learners with mentors. The Platform provides real-time messaging, AI-powered mentorship, connection management, and related features designed to facilitate mentorship relationships.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must create an account to use the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at mentormindofficial@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3.3 Account Types

The Platform supports three account types: Learner (user), Mentor, and Admin. Each role has different permissions and capabilities as defined by the Platform.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, mentors, or administrators
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely claim an affiliation
• Upload or share content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt the Platform’s infrastructure or security measures
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Platform

5. Mentor Responsibilities

Mentors are expected to provide professional, respectful guidance to learners.

• Respond to connection requests and messages in a timely manner
• Maintain professional boundaries and respectful communication
• Provide accurate information about their expertise and credentials
• Not use the Platform to solicit services or products unrelated to mentorship

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform, its design, logo, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by MentorMind and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit through the Platform. By submitting content, you grant MentorMind a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and transmit your content for the purpose of providing the service. You represent that your content does not violate any third-party rights.

8. AI Mentor Service

The AI Mentor feature provides AI-generated guidance based on your inputs. This service is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. The AI Mentor may not always be accurate or appropriate, and its responses should not replace professional consultation. MentorMind disclaims all liability arising from the use of the AI Mentor.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MentorMind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. MentorMind does not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your access to the Platform ceases and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the Platform or email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
